She came from a sunflower field,
so my story goes, with fire in her eyes
that stole the blue of summer skies
and I accepted what fate had dealt.
Her laughter sang wherever we went
and all would stare and ponder
while our friendship grew only stronger
and she made me see life different.
She made our lives spark to flame
with mischief and life and fun
rolling playfully in our sun
we found each other to be the same.
I’ll always remember her sunlit hair,
her smile so wide and eyes so bright.
We tried holding onto each other so tight
but the memory of each other is all that flares.

Hi Keda,
What a pleasure reading your poems. I myself do not have the talent to write as you do. So I have kept my blog with pictures and short comments/stories. You can find me at www.southcoastgarage.blogspot.com . Let me know what you think.
Again, what a pleasure it has been.
Mike
